The Matric Geography students are busy studying land use zones which are most commonly identified in urban settlements. This section will form an important part of the exams and is a favourite question. (hint hint hint!!!!!!)

The Matrics will soon embark on an outing where they will be required to identify and photograph different land use zones, or precincts as they are most commonly referred to, within the CBD of Cape Town and outlying areas.

Students will be provided with a brief of which zones they must take note of and photograph. They will also be required to write a short essay supplementing the data which they gathered. It is essential for them to review, revise and familiarise themselves with the most common zones from their notes as they will not be told when they are near a specific zone.
