On Tuesday, 1st November, the Grade Threes were fortunate to visit the World of Birds.
We arrived at the venue and got ourselves sorted into buddies, leaving no man behind.
As we entered the World of Birds, the Grade Threes were handed a sheet of questions… no, no, no, they were not there just to look around, they were there to learn, and take in as much as they could about all the wonderful birds (and other funky creatures) of this world.
The Grade Threes had plenty time to meander around the enclosures, getting as close as 10cm away from owls and beautifully colourful birds.
They enjoyed time spent with friends, discussing their findings, during their lunch breaks and throughout the day.
What a lovely day! Thank you to all who helped lift to and from The World of Birds.
