This week we had an amazing lesson incorporating Multiple Intelligence’s (MI) with our Grade 10 CAT class. Multiple Intelligence uses the idea that “Intelligence” can be determined in many different ways and not just from the traditional “IQ test”. We started the lesson by learning about the different locations in the world of famous technological inventions. The class soon realised that not everything was invented in America. We then went onto understanding why mankind created computers and what their purpose is. Next, we wanted to explore what our (the students) purpose is/ what makes us who we are. The class completed a worksheet answering questions all about themselves e.g. what their dreams and personality traits were. They then had to summarise the information from their worksheet and feed this back to the class.
