The new addition to the competition, FIVES Football (U13 Girls) fulfilled its promise in being one of the most exciting forms of football at the event.

There could only be one winner for each trophy. Bergvliet came out on top in a thrilling encounter against SVPS U13A. After SVPS were leading 1-0 with a minute to go, Bergvliet hit back with a long distance goal. Subsequently, they won a nail biting penalty shoot-out to take the Trophy. Waldorf Consantia played against The Grove in the Plate Final, and it was another intense affair with neither team giving an inch. It ended goalless and went to Penalties. Warldof held their nerve and WON the Plate. Marcelino Oliphant of SVPS U13A was awarded Defender of the Tournament.

The FIVES Football proved to be an incredibly intense, physical, fast form of Soccer. The Sun Valley U13A girls took the Title after playing a phenomenal standard of hockey throughout the event.

The non-stop, high paced netball was thrilling over the two days. A total of twelve teams battled it out for the 2018 bragging rights. The hosts, SVPS U13A, blew the opposition away with their incredible speed around the court, superb tactical awareness and high level of skill – this team is one to watch.

Isabella Tooley took home the Trophy for Best Defender and Leah Winter won the best attacker award.

This was an event to remember for all the staff and students of Sun Valley Group of Schools.
