Sun Valley ventured North to attend three different festivals over the weekend.

Brackenfell, Gene Louw and Panorama were the setting for our athletes, whereby they took part in almost a full day of fixtures.

Brackenfell was host to our first team Netball, Hockey and Rugby teams. Our boys and girls showed amazing commitment; some even had to run from one sporting code to the next!

The boys and girls hockey was spectacular; they held their weight against some strong competition. The boys gained respect with their amazing skill and the girls with their die hard attitude on defence.

One highlight of the festival was the netball girls amazing performance in an unbeaten run of 10 games in two days. WOW!!

The U8, U10 and U12 A and B rugby boys set out to take on the tough Gene Louw. Playing such strong competition can only improve the standard of our rugby. This was evident as our boys kept the games tight with some flaring skill and physicality.

The U11 rugby boys experienced a Laerskool Panorama festival for the first time ever. Even though we were one of the smallest teams at the festival, our boys showed true grit and perseverance in tacking the giants of the North.

Thank you to Panorama, Gene Louw and Brackenfell for hosting such an awesome event and well done to the Sun Valley family for making this day so special.
