Can you believe we’re in the last stretch of Grade 2? What a year filled with fun, love, wonder and laughter. Reflecting on one of the best years yet, is no easy task.

Some highlights include: Splishing and splashing at Boulders Beach, collecting litter at Fish Hoek Beach and dodging sea urchins at Dalebrooke.
Dancing many nights away during our school play, Tales of Time. It was such a treat to see the budding stars come alive under the spotlights.
Learning to construct simple Afrikaans sentences has been a huge joy. We think these Grade 2s are on their way to becoming bilingual.
Our last PJ Party was a hit! A full grade disco was possibly even more fun for the teachers than the kids themselves.

The greatest highlight of the year is knowing that we have a group of activists who are here to protect and conserve this wonderfully created planet of ours.
Once again we would like to grab this opportunity to thank the Grade 2 parent body of 2018. You have been such a support and source of encouragement for us as teachers. It has been a privilege to teach, inspire and love your children through this year.
We are going to miss your spunky, quirky and hard working children, and hope you have a lovely holiday together.
