Databases are widely used throughout the world.

Clothing stores have massive databases in which they keep records such as the prices of items and the amount of items in stock.

Even schools use a database to keep track of all the learners records including exam results and contact details. This week the Grade 11 CAT students have been learning how to restrict the way data can be entered into the database by using Input Masks. For example you can restrict input of a telephone’s number to the format (021) 687-0000. This is quite a difficult concept for the Grade 11’s to master. So well done to them for persevering through it.
