The Dutch exchange students visited our school from the 12th to the 19th of October.  Cape Town pulled out all the stops and the visitors were treated to amazing warm windless days, which afforded us opportunities to pack in all the planned tourist outings.  Driving around our beautiful peninsula, over Chapman’s Peak Drive, stopping at Scarborough and Kommetjie showcased the best that Cape Town has to offer.

Visiting the Ostrich farm, feeding the ostriches, eating fish and chips at the beach and swimming on a beautiful day made day 1 a huge success.

A visit to Robben Island, the V and A Waterfront and a sunset trip up Table Mountain was the cherry on the cake for our Dutch visitors.  Sad goodbyes were said as the Dutchies departed for the airport.  Firm friendships were forged and many students are enthusiastic to maybe visit The Netherlands in the near future.
