It has been an exciting few weeks in Grade One as our children get back into the routine of being at school everyday. They have enjoyed tasting success as they get the opportunity to consolidate their knowledge, which helps them to master the concepts taught by their class teacher.

They have been hard at work learning about addition and subtraction, the uses of plants and the Afrikaans setwork: Rooikappie. The teachers have been blown away by the beautiful Handwriting produced by the Grade Ones, especially because they have now advanced onto smaller lines. The children have particularly enjoyed the craft Fridays and we love seeing them flex their creative muscles.

We are so proud of the resilience and grit shown by our Grade Ones as they adapt with ease to all the changes that 2020 has brought on.

We look forward to an amazing Term Four and we trust that you have a restful and safe holiday!
